Richmond, VA: National Medical Logistics (NML) announced today that they have been selected by University Hospitals Health System (UHHS) in Cleveland, Ohio to assist with the planning and execution of several supply chain initiatives. NML will work with the 8 hospitals in the system to:
- Evaluate, select and implement a PAR inventory automation process;
- Develop and implement a cross dock strategy involving their distributor partner to streamline receiving;
- Establish distribution performance metrics and associated goals;
- Provide distribution management expertise to improve supply chain partnership performance, including maximizing savings associated with group purchasing.
