Special Announcement

May 2011

Dear Friends,

    Greg

National Medical Logistics is pleased to announce that in the second half of 2011 we plan to launch a new division, NML Online

This new service offering will be supported by a section of our web site that will provide a secure, electronic method for entering and utilizing operational management tools and working with NML in a virtual environment.  Clients will be provided with a logon and password to access a series of decision support tools created specifically for healthcare supply chain applications.

These tools are intended to "close the gap" between some of the typical MMIS or ERP management reporting capabilities and real life, meaningful and actionable reports.  This is just one of the ways NML is addressing some of the hot topic issues facing healthcare supply chain managers today.

Look for additional information on our roll out schedule in the coming weeks.  To learn more, read the information below or contact us by clicking here.

Sincerely,

National Medical Logistics

NML Online - Supply Chain Driven

NML Online is being fashioned in response to feedback from hands-on industry management professionals for specific analytics that provide close to real-time reporting and results.  Many of the existing systems that we see in our work with clients are very robust with respect to financial functionality and reporting but often lack depth when it comes to evaluating and acting on supply chain decisions.  These types of capabilities usually involve system enhancements or modifications, along with major implementation costs and risks.

Cloud Computing at Its Best

NML Online aims to fill that gap with options.  As an application service provider (ASP) our platform will be subscription based and can be purchased with a credit card or P Card.  There is no software to evaluate, load or support.  All applications and data are supported and confidentially secured by NML.  Clients may choose from three levels of service:

  • Ala Carte
  • Preferred
  • Partner

As the name implies, clients selecting the Ala Carte product will have access to our complete suite of offerings, but pricing will be based on a per occurrence approach.

The Preferred level will offer bundled pricing for unlimited access for up to 4 of the tools.

The Partner level will be our most comprehensive method for accessing NML Online and will provide clients with unlimited access to the full compliment of product offerings.

Our first bundle is called Slot & Store.  This suite of products is driven by item master and order history files.  Three products are included:

 Slot & Store

 Suite

  Description Recommended  Frequency
 MedSlot Inventory slotting analysis Quarterly
SKUstore Storage type and quantity analysis Quarterly
 Velcode

 Warehouse & Storeroom ABC

On the Horizon

Nine additional products are presently in development and slated for release over the course of the next year.  Release of the next bundle, Stock & Replenish, is targeted for 4th quarter 2011 and will add 4 more modules to our toolkit.

 Stock &

 Replenish Suite

 Description

 Recommended

 Frequency

 4DPlan Inventory level management
 Monthly
Nstock Non-stock to stock analysis Quarterly
 Replen Managed replenishment Daily/Monthly/Quarterly
 VendOp Vendor purchasing efficiencies Quarterly

Look for additional information about this and other offerings as they become available.

Another benefit that NML Online users should expect over time is access to industry benchmarking.  With confidentiality as the cornerstone of service, NML plans to aggregate the generic data of users to provide reporting trends, which is often critical for industry metrics.  Again, look for updates on our progress in this area in the coming months.
